About me

 I’m Maria Alexiou, founder of Studio Heart Photography, based in Rhodes, Greece. My journey in the creative world began with graphic design in 2008, but by 2010, photography had completely captured my heart.

  As a wife and a mother of three, I deeply understand how quickly time passes and how valuable every moment becomes. This is what drives me to capture memories in the most honest and meaningful way.  

 Over the years, I’ve explored many areas of both design and photography, yet what truly moves me is the ability to preserve meaningful moments. I find endless inspiration in photographing people and the emotions that define their most special occasions! Wedding proposals, maternity journeys, baby portraits, family sessions, christenings, love stories and weddings.

 For me, photography is more than just an image… it’s about capturing feelings. I am constantly chasing light, movement, genuine moments, and raw emotion to create images that tell a story and last a lifetime.
